Will all my metadata look generic?

Not necessarily — but stock metadata is also not meant to be highly creative writing.

On stock platforms, metadata is primarily about search visibility and relevance. Strong metadata follows SEO and buyer search intent principles:

  • accurate subject recognition
  • relevant keywords
  • clear titles and descriptions
  • strong keyword prioritization.

In practice, stock metadata across contributors is often naturally similar because buyers search using standardized terms.

Fylio is designed around those search principles rather than creative copywriting. You can also add more specific context through settings like topic, location, or keyword count to make results more tailored to your images and workflow.

For unique or conceptual images, some contributors still prefer making small adjustments for extra specificity, but for most commercial content, generated metadata is already well-optimized for stock search.
